I would use Military grade Velcro and attach it with 3M weather striping adhesive. If you go with the phone I would recommend mounting it to the back of the glove box so you can access it easy to turn it back on when it shuts off because it dies if not hooked directly to battery for constant hot. On top of this you have a lot of fire issues with Chinese made lithium ion batteries and the wall wort charger are known to be fire hazards. It was 2:1 maybe 3:1 girls to guys with dead batteries. We had to drive to the airport almost every day we both had 4x4's and also liked to get out a lot year round. ![]() I live in a state with cold winters and it never failed me and my roommate who was also in Flight School with me had to jump start 30 to 40 vehicles each on the last day of any given semester because so many cars had dead batteries. ![]() A lot of students would just let other people drive them around since not everyone likes driving especialy in college towns. People in college especialy in the dorms often had dead batteries.
